Chapter 8, Bad Breath
I rushed from the jungle onto the open plain before me glad to be free from the confines. A wide valley opened before me and the sound of birds was pleasant to my ears. As I surveyed my new found freedom my blood ran cold. The ground trembled and my knees knocked as two juvenile raptors and the biggest goddamn raptor in the world thundered towards me.
I ran like hell. As I found out later it wasn't a raptor, it was a Tyrannosaurus Rex.
Life sucks and then you die. That's the way I felt as I walked onto the open plain.
