Pachycephalosaurs: TLW Pachycephalosaurs (Animatronic & CGI)
"They're a bit lazier than the Rexes, but I was actually very happy with an old JPOG skin (again, it's from the ancient Movie Universe Pack, so full credit to the author of that for the base patterning) which I had lying around and decided to just upscale the original JPOG texture and just do a bit of overlay magic using the modded skin to find a balance between the two. I re-did the face with close-up stills of the animatronic for better detail, and added a bit of detail texture over the whole thing to give it more life. And I adjusted the overall colour scheme to get it as close as I could to the movie.
I know the two pachycephalosaurs in the image look similar, but they both have somewhat different textures. Eyeballing the CGI version shown during the round-up scene, it looked to be a more yellowish shade with brighter blue patches, whereas the animatronic was more faded and brown. So after going back and forth between variants I decided to just do both. It's not super obvious in the image at all, but the difference is there. They look good alongside one another as variants on the same pattern. So...here are two new pachycephalosaur skins for everyone!"
