Again another nice update here ๐Ÿ™‚ We for once put up an “How we can halp you” page. In that we’ll explain you, what we can do, to help you to help us. ๐Ÿ™‚ Meaning that we can host your work etc. Simply check it out if you’re interested!

Then we also had to redo our menu, adding another submenu called : Hosted Sites. On this we present all the sites, which are currently hosted by TresCom. Including an all new site called Genesis, which is about the upcoming game Project Genesis! We just opened it today, so please make sure you’ll visit it :

http://genesis.trescom.org

Tomi also send in some fan work of his. It is a start of a small comic he’s doing featuring Anne, the Trespasser. It is quite funny, so go and read it today in our FanArt section. Well, we certainly hope that others will start sending in stuff as well ๐Ÿ™‚

Darthraptor also send us the last part of his fantastic Trespasser Walkthrough : The Summit. He also added another Thanks page, which explains itself I believe ๐Ÿ™‚ With this, his work has almost end. ๐Ÿ™ We do hope that he will still work for us on other stuff and maybe help us imrpove a litttle further, as he did with this fantastic task! We’d once again also like to thank Hilwo on his help. Both of you did an amazing job on the Walkthrough, so once again : thank you!

We certainly do have a big update for you guys today ๐Ÿ™‚ Since from now on all of you will be able to have your own email account here. Yes, you heard us correctly, you will be able to have a hooray@trescom.org address, if you like. We made up a very nice web-based user-interface for you guys, too ๐Ÿ™‚ Well, unfortunately , you still need to write us a mail with your username and password, so that we can make it up for you, but right after that, it’s yours…

We also made a small contacts page, so that you can find our email-addresses more easily on this site. Simply go to the Contacts page, to find out about it.

Further more, we finally put some banners online! You can find them on the banners page, we also added to the menu… e.g.:

Feel free, to add those to your page ๐Ÿ™‚

Well, and besides that all, we of course added the next images, this time of the harbor… I hope you’ll all enjoy this ๐Ÿ™‚

We must excuse ourselves for the late update, but again, we have been quite busy, working on a mail system. Our email-adresses have changed already, so now you can contact me and remdul under these adresses:

[email”>paul[/email”>

[email”>remdul[/email”>

With either one we’ll receive your mails…

Besides this nice change, we would also like to show you this nice little Flash movie:

http://groundzero.actionrealm.com

It was made by one of our new “old” members, blasco, who just currently rejoined us. He was the former webmaster of TrespasserNet , so it is good to have him back. I guess the movie shows us, that he plans to do a Trespasser: Special Edition….

Besides that, we also added the images of the town level to the “Darthraptor’s Walkthrough” and fixed the Industrial Jungle images, so that they match to the text… Enjoy them! ๐Ÿ™‚

Finally we were able to do this new update. So within the last we week, we got the exciting news of a new level being made by Rebel. You can read the full story over here at TresCity. If that is true , then that would be the first succesful attempt to create an entire Trespasser Level from the scratch.

Besides that, we also got the next images up for the Industrial Jungle of “Darth Raptors” Walkthrough. The ones for the Town Level will follow soon on our next update.

However, we still count on you! We certainly need more help from people just like DarthRaptor. So please make sure you read our “how to help” page… This is quite serious.

We finally got our news archieve working properly, so we decided to update again! Besides that, we also made up a short help! page, on which you can find several ways of helping the Community! So please take a look today and don’t hesistate to write… We also updated Hilwo’s Voiceover List. (we had to fix several of bugs and tweaked the file size, so that all of you will be able to take a look at it quickly).

Besides that we also got a nice image sent in by our youngest Community-member Christopher! You can clearly see that he’s trying to help… so all of you who didn’t before: Don’t hesistate, we can use any help out there!

Also: A new Version of TresEd has been released a few days ago, so make sure you update your version tonight!

Yes it sure was time for another update! And today it will be a fantastic one too, this we guarentee! We were able to regain all the lost models that Dreamworks Interactive left out in the shipping version of Trespasser. Some of which were supposed to be in the PineValley! So we decided to make them public the first time ever. Yes, you understood that correctly. So from today on, you will be able to add any of these lost models (via GeomAdd) to the Trespasser levels of your choice. But we would also like to state that it is still copyrighted work of Dreamworks Interactive, so we decided to scan your hard drive before downloading. If you happen to have the full version of Trespasser installed on it, then you will get a password allowing you to download any of these fantastic models. We do think that this is a safe way of doing it! Of course none of your data will be stored in any database and you will NOT be lined up for junkmail that wayโ€ฆ as we said, it is only a way of protecting the copyright after all.

Andres also updated his site, featuring a collection of notes on the Trespasser data files. So all of you hackers out there: Please help us, read through those notes and start thinking about missing pieces. The community sure does need your help and hacking this game is alot of fun too! We would also need somebody who knows how to interpret the exe source code written in assembly language for us! Please if you are capable and interested in doing any of these things then donโ€™t hasistate, but write us an email: madppiper@aol.com! We will all be very thankful for help. Remember you too can help! Besides hacking there are plenty more way of doing so: find new articles/media files arround Trespasser and uplaod them to the fanstuff section, or maybe add some new models, or design your own level, or simply be creative in some other ways, such as writing your own Trespasser article / story / music score or draw a picture or suchโ€ฆ

Besides these great news, put up the next part of the fantastic Walkthrough: the Anscient 2 โ€“ level and we also updated our news system so that only the latest 10 news will be viewable up here. All the old ones will be archieved in our archieve section, which we will put up on our next updateโ€ฆ

GeomAdd was being released today! Andres has been working on this amazing tool for the last few weeks and this is the first tool allowing you to insert new Models into Trespasser ever! Not only that, but he also developed the next version of TresEd featuring plenty of new options, which can be quite useful for the work with GeomAdd! So if you donโ€™t happen to have these fantastic tools yet, make sure you download them NOWโ€ฆ Andres could also use some help from you! Yes, you heard me right: YOU can be part of the developement of these tools. Simply give him some feedback, some new ideas, or improvements on his tools and you are helping alot!

Besides this, Rebel was also able to hack the Jungle Road Level. He managed a way to move the entire terrain 250 feet above the previous world, so that you can start out with a completely blank level! This should be interesting for all of us , who want to make a level from the scratch! It is also a fantastic process in hacking the wtd files, so: Congratulations Rebel! You can find this new level in our Levels sectionโ€ฆ.

Today we would like to draw your attention to the newest TresEd version Andres released yesterday. This update features many useful changes and functions, including some, which will be quite useful with GeomAdd! As it seems, it is not much time left till the release of this long-awaited program… ๐Ÿ™‚

Tuesday, 21st May 2002

We just got news from Andres, stating that he will be able to release GeomAdd very soon. Most likely even within the next few days! This will be very helpful for all of us, since this tool allows you to add any new object into Trespasser you want! And with that, people should also be able to create and design their own levels. We certainly hope that this will involve the rest of the community a little more ๐Ÿ™‚ So just grab your tools (3dstudio Max / G-Max) and start designing… it won’t take long until this great piece of work will be released!

Besides these great news, we were also able to put up the next part of the fantastic Walkthrough: the Anscient 1 – level. So go ahead and make sure you read through it today!

Saturday, 18th May 2002

Today we have a rather big update on our site! We finally got our Upload Script working, so that you all Trespasser fans can simply upload their work onto our server. This is quite an easy system to make your work available for others in the community! But remember that the files are not allowed to be bigger than 5 mb and they also need to be Trespasser related! If not , then they will be removed from the server again immediately… However if you happen to have any Trespasser work done, then feel free to upload it! This must not only be Fan Art, but can also be complete modified Trespasser levels, sounds, textures or anything. Possibly even models in the near future… After upload is then automatically added to our Fan Stuff page. We certainly hope that this will allow all Trespasser fans, to share their thoughts and work ๐Ÿ™‚

Besides that we also changed several other things on this site! We put the next picture up on the next part of the Walkthrough and also added some image analysis’ to our concept art page! You can read them by clicking on some of the “unknown” concept art images. Thanks goes to Hilwo on this… he was the one, who analysed them for us and who came up with some proofs for his theories. Now if you happen to have any ideas on the other images, then please feel free to contact us: madppiper@aol.com. We’ll once again be very thankful for any of your thoughts.

Further more we also got some background information on TresCity’s layout changes. As it seems now, it will most likely change the layout again and look totally different then first expected…
