TresCom Isle Beta – Now Available

TresCom Isle Beta – Now Available

Information

TresCom Isle is an extension to the original levels of the game ‘Trespasser’ where we take our heroine, Anne, by balloon to a small island near Site-B. Downed by angry Pteranodons she has to make it across the island, to the crater of the volcanic island, where she descends belowground to uncover even darker secrets which InGen, the company that build Jurassic Park, was hiding from the world.

We know you’ve all been waiting for a long time, and we hope you’ll enjoy playing it as much as we enjoyed creating it.

Download

There are two versions of the Beta, a low detail and high detail version. If the original levels of the game run poorly on your system when the detail options are set to maximum, it is recommend that you download the low detail version. All other modern systems should be able to run the high detail version without much trouble.

In order to meet our copyright policy we have encoded the installer. This application will display the password if an installation of a legally obtained version of Trespasser is detected.

High detail (65.2mb):

Primary: FilePlanet (download requires free registration)

Mirror 1: JPDatabase

Low detail (65.2mb):

TRESCOM OPS: Raptor Carnage!

Ahh!!! Run! Scream! Flee to your villages! Run in the long grass (muhaha)!Because guess what has made its way into the new TresCom level TC-Isle? A new and improved Velociraptor! But how did this happen? Well our genetics department here at TresCom has become increasingly advanced over the last few months (Take that, John Hammond! Ha!) and we have been able to alter the original raptor’s ‘genetic makeup’, providing the public with a fiercer and… by all means, freakier… creature.

So, being the great newsman I am, I decided to take a video camera out into the wild wilderness (if that makes any sense) of TC-Isle and get a glimpse of this freaky guy. The footage doesn’t last long, but thats because I was viciously attacked once it got to me, and hence, I lost a lot of the footage. Only the top half of my body remains, but thats okay. As long as I can type with my hands and look at the screen, my life is just fine, now isn’t?

So take a look at my footage at this link! Oh, and when you get the chance to go to TC-Isle, put on the dinos cheat or something so the same thing won’t happen to you…

(you will need to have the radtools installed in order to view this video!)

TC-ISLE: Unofficial Teaser Trailers!

Some guy that has been stalking me lately all over town named MikeTheRaptor one day decided to talk to me, and who would have known it, but guess what he made for me? Not one, but TWO exciting video trailers advertising the new TresCom level, TC-ISLE! Is that insane or what?! Well, insane or not, here they are! Kudos to the cool music to go with the images.

Here are the links to them, hope you all likie. Now, if I could only get this MikeTheRaptor guy to stop following me around… maybe I can lead HIM into a walk-in freezer…

Trespasser: High-Resolution Patch!

Today I saw an eagle circling in the sky. So beautiful, that it can only refer to one thing: The gods favour all of us Trespasser fans. And now guess what happened later today?

The gods sent Sakke! True the intro was a little lame, but our new highly motivated and talented forum member actually upgraded the old and rusty Trespasser graphics. Yeah, you read correctly. He actually created a Tres graphics patch! I honestly don’t know how he did it, but the result is amazing. You may want to look at these screenshots Scalenger took for you (noticed the enormous distance and the huge improvement on the ‘level of detail’). For comparison we will provide you with a row of original Trespasser images and with images of the same scene with the new patch applied:

If you want to be overwhelmed by a new Trespasser experience then download the fileshere

(note to all: The patch runs only on the full version of Trespasser)

Server Downtime

As you may have noticed have we been facing a long server downtime for the last 2 weeks. This was caused by a serious security breach on one of the dynamic Gamespy servers. This lead to a server shutdown by our host Gamespy , in order to repair the servers and establish further counter-measures.

In the meantime we redirected the trescom.org domain to the diehard server,at which we established a tiny forum. (Remdul coded this one over night, thats how much we love you! hehe)

Right now we are trying to get everything back into place and to re-organise our files. So it may take some time until we can go on with the usual updates. So please bear with us. We’re doing our best to fix the errors.

An extra note on Trescom Isle: Due to this accident, we were thrown back by two weeks in production. So we are discussing a new release date right now and will let you know the following days.

The Definitive Trespasser: Level One

Ladies and Gentlemen…Boys and Girls…lend me your rears…*cough*…I mean…ears…

Someone known as “John Parker Hammond” has decided to become John Parker Hammond, and hence, take our beloved Site B and rearrange its genetic code and lysine contingency! Thats right…Site B has been newly improved…its faster…its scarier…its more realistic…its bigger…its better than ever! And, Hark! Where shalt we begin first than with the first level itself: The Beach! The other levels are offline and it will take Nedry a few hours to reboot the system, some minor systems may go off and on, its just something…

Does anybody want a soda? Oh, nevermind…

So go ahead to this link to download the level! And, Hark! Here are some screenshots straight from the level itself! That John Parker Hammond must be some kind of billionare to have someone actually photograph the place, am I right?

Oh, and if you haven’t looked at our other levels, or you for some odd reason are like Dr. Malcolm and you think direct download links are just ‘utter chaos’, then go visit our level download page here.

Trespasser composer Bill Brown’s status is growing

Bill Brown, the beloved composer for TRESPASSER is steadily growing more popular as the years go by. Personally, I am not sure why it has taken him even this long to get noticed. Ever since I heard the music he made for TRESPASSER, he has shown some extreme potential. Even Spielberg commented on his talents positively. Now, all very recently, Bill has some interesting projects that will hopefully draw more ears toward him.

According to tvguide.com, Bill is the composer for the new CBS series CSI: NY. He has also now done the soundtrack for a movie called Lady Death which can be purchased at Bill’s site on DVD here.

For sound clips and other news about Bill Brown, please visit his site here. Come on… you KNOW you want to…
