Article on PcGamer

We could finally get our hands on the June Edition of Pcgamer. It was reported earlier this month, that they were having a short article about our Community. So we’d like to share this experience with you and are posting up that scanned copy of that article here:

pcgamer1

Again: THANK YOU PCGAMER! We’re certainly hoping that this wasn’t the last article we’ve seen about our works and we’d want to encourage any other Author out there to help us spread the word. It’s taking an extremely high amount of time to keep our projects going and so every help is well appreciated. So any author out there, please feel free to contact us on any further background information, the email address is: paul@trescom.org

Lack of updates

Unfortunately we were having some problems getting our new news-system to work. So we’d like to apologize for our lack of updates. We’ll work on that and we’ll try to get it work any day (our new members Scallenger and Nem are already patiently waiting to post up their first news).

News from Bill Brown

We received news from Bill Brown, stating that some of his works are on shelves now: Lineage II, for instance, got a huge update called Chronicle 1” and Bill contributed the soundtrack. You can read up the quality of his contribution in this sweet article, which ran on Music4Games. Got you interested? Then head over to Bill’s store and grab a copy. Chronicle 2 is already in the making and is as good as finished, too!

Well, his other project The Lady Death, is getting released on DVD this October. There will also be a seperate O.S.T. release by that time. So if you got an extra dime, go ahead and buy one of which, I’m sure it’ll be worth the money!

Tresgame’s finally on the block

Yup, the Trespasser fan-site Tresgame finally made its way to the public! The site was being updated a few minutes ago, so head over there and take a look! It’s worth the trip…

TresCity hired a new co-webmaster

TresCity’s search for a new co-webmaster is over. After looking for several weeks, webmaster Rexy40 has finally decided upon a new helping hand. So for today we’d like to give it up for: Slugger. The TresCom staff is of course wishing both of them all the luck, may your site be updated regularly.

TCOPS: Recruitment Center

Well, it took us several weeks, to make up our minds. It has been a really hard decision. That hard, that we simply ran out of arguments for choosing only a single new member. So we decided on giving out the same job twice, in hopes that it will help us even more. We’d like to give a warm welcome to Scalenger and Nem! May this site be updated more often!

‘I’d read if there wasn’t anything good on TV!’

Well, it’s time again for our weekly part of “Trespasser2” I know that many people have been waiting for this one, so I won’t spoil you folks much more… Read Sk8ers next chapter: here.

‘Welcome to Jurassic Park!’

Looks like we got a small comptetion this week. “Trespasser2” vs. “JP Diary”… you know what? Read them both. I know your eyes are hurting… but that’s no excuse to miss any of the stories. Read the “JP Diary” here

Tresgame: Waiting for Lift-off!

Last week we were reporting about TresCity calling itself back on the active-duty list. Well guess what? Today,we received news from our community-member Mickey, stating that the long-awaited website ‘Tresgame’ is near completion and that it will launch within the next few weeks! Not only that it will feature some pretty exclusive content, it will also feature a fresh, new design! I think that this should be some great news for the old Trespasser-Central fans. Wonder why? Well, take a look and guess what inspired the design the most:

We’re certainly wishing the Tresgame team all the luck. Their Tresgame-forum is already awaiting new visitors , may they launch their website soon…

Victim of a serious Hacker-attack?

Some of you may have noticed the board being shut down for several days. Well, this was mostly a security function ,trying protect our database from a hacking attempt. But this is only one explanation, it could have also been a guy trying to connect to the board over and over again. Nevertheless, we think that you guys deserve an apology for that and we certainly hope, that this won’t happen again in the near future…

‘Trespasser Final’-The Summit near completion

The one and only JohnParkerHammond has been working his butt off on the Trespasser-mod ‘Trespasser-Final’, which is now near completion. He stated earlier on the board that this new Trespasser-mod will feature:

# Enhanced levels-new never before seen brand new objects

# Same storyline, but new perils

# Greater authenticity- see what Site B would REALLY look like.

# Greater realism-enhanced environment – bringing more challenge.

Boy, if that doesn’t get you anxious to play this neat modifications, then maybe these neat screenshots will:

TresCity returning from the Grave!

We’ve got some great news for today! Rexy got back to business and is heavily working on TresCity. He updated the page yesterday (featuring some exclusive TC-Isle images!) and is now searching for another staff member! So to all the folks who already applied for teh job here: maybe it’s a good idea to apply at that place as well. For the rest of you: Pay them a visit. There’s no other site, who’d deserve it more…

News from the TCOPS – Recruitment Center

We’re currently evalutaing the applications we received and it may take another week for us to decide and to get our new news-system into place. For now we’d certainly like to thank all of the applicants (if you haven’t been aware of this job-offer, skip through the news below. it’s not too late to apply). We’ll notify you all, once we know more.

‘Jurassic Park Diary’ updated!

Our forum member Mega raptor spent some extra time working on his neat Trespasser diary. It’s highly interesting , so I recommend reading the updated version here.

Minor Updates

Due to the sudden activeness in our Community, we’ve taken the exta time to update this site, including some broken links and the ScreenoftheWeek section. Please keep the screenhsots coming. We’ll try to maintain that section alot better in the future.

‘The Outpost’ in the making

Slugger, a new member of our ever-growing Trespasser-Community, is working on his first level, called ‘The Outpost’, coming along with a brand new story. The features list sounds really promising as well:

# new puzzles

# brand-new terrain

# the enhanced dino behavior (known from the TC-Final)

# and perhaps some modified models

He supplied us with an early preview of the story, stating that:

” It takes place somewhere outside of the Town, and relatively close to Pine Valley. The Outpost was presumably one of the first compounds created on Site B, and it was eventually converted as a midpoint for those en route to the Geothermal Plant.

A reference to the Outpost found in the Operations Center in the Town sparks an interest in Anne, as well as a hope for finding a way off Site B. It is your task to find the Outpost, break in, evaluate its condition, and find out if it does contain a way for you to get off Site B once and for all — and if not, continue on. ”

And if that weren’t enough, we also got some very early screenshots!

WE WANT YOU!

Well, you may have noticed our lack of updates these days. Remdul and I have been horribly busy these weeks, working on some projects for the website, so we simply didn’t have the time to keep the site updated. So the decision we made is rather obvious:

WE NEED A NEW STAFF MEMBER!

Now we hope some of you are getting excited over this, because it also means joining the TresCom Ops and getting lots of insights of our current ongoings. However, in order to maintain a certain degree of quality, we’d need vollunteers to have :

Some excuses

Well, it’s been kinda long since our last update, which I am going to excuse ourselves for now. I for my part was simply too busy to create some new exciting content for the last few weeks and the community has been really slow these days, too. So without any new stuff arriving, we simply had nothing to update the site with. Which leads me directly to this: Please keep on contributing new stuff! Right now the that’s what the community needs the most. So if you happen to be a Trespasser fan, PLEASE help keeping the community active! Thanks for all of your help in return….

We’ve also been having some server problems with the diehard server. We could luckily solve these for now, so please keep on visiting the other fan pages…

Jurassic Park Diary

Our Community-member Mega Raptor created an extremely long Story for ya, called : “The Jurassic Park Diary”. In which he retells the recreation of the park out of the perspective of J.P. Hammond. So to all of the Jurassic Park fans out there: Take a look now!

New Trespasser Mod

Wow! Trespasser mods really seem to become famous now. For todays’s update we received an email from drus82, stating that there’s another Trespasser-FarCry-Modification in the making. I was actually suprised to see another mod in developement… so go visit their website here
